DIY : create your own candle holder

MAISON PECHAVY offers you a new way of approaching home décor: rather than simply buying a finished item, why not get involved in creating it yourself? Some pieces, characterised by slight imperfections, do not make it into our collections and instead feature in our “Les Imparfaits” range. Rather than discarding them, we have chosen to give them a new lease of life.

Express your creativity and personalise your candle holder with ease. Assembling your candle holder couldn’t be simpler: for the small and medium models, simply insert the ferrule using a mallet (if you don’t have a mallet, please protect the part to be inserted with a cloth and tap it in gently with a hammer). For the large candle holder, the brass piece should be glued in place using a dot of glue.

These wooden candle holders are crafted from solid beech by a workshop holding the EPV (Entreprise de Patrimoine Vivant) label, based in Lot-et-Garonne, a few kilometres from the MAISON PECHAVY workshops. The silhouette of the candle holder is carefully shaped by a wood turner. This set is designed to hold slim candles measuring 0.8cm to 1cm in diameter.

Designed by Carine Pechavy, the brand’s founder, this set features an original and unique design combining simple, rounded and organic lines. Topped with a brass cap, this wooden candle holder is elegant and showcases handcrafted 1cm-diameter candles.
