At MAISON PECHAVY, high standards are a founding principle: creating objects with meaning. Objects designed to last, drawn with precision, and crafted with care.
From the very beginning, Carine Pechavy chose to work with French partners renowned for their expertise, and with materials selected for their durability. Some of our workshops are awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label—an official distinction recognizing excellence in French craftsmanship. The Ciergerie des Prémontrés, our ceramic workshop, and our wood turner all uphold precise, demanding techniques, passed down and refined over generations. Here, durability is not a claim—it is embedded in every stage of creation.
Create less, but create right. Create for the long term.
Carine Pechavy often recalls these words by William Morris: “Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.” A conviction that guides each of her creations.
