Maison Pechavy candle gift sets are made entirely in France. We work with the last remaining chandlery in the country, recognised as an Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV).
Our candles are artisanal and French through and through. The chandlers still work by hand, using the traditional dipping method: cotton wicks, laid in a U shape over wooden rods, are mounted on frames and lowered into molten wax.
The colours, as vibrant as they are unexpected, come from pigments dispersed within the wax itself.
Our candleholders are held to the same standard. Designed by Carine Pechavy, they are machined in France by partner workshops. The finishing touches are carried out in our Agen workshops, where the brass is cleaned and polished by hand.
Each gift set is then assembled by hand by our teams, in Lot-et-Garonne.
