Each Maison Pechavy creation has been conceived and designed by the brand's founder, Carine Pechavy.

VOS QUESTIONS
To preserve the shine of brass, use our dedicated cleaning kit, which includes a bottle of Mécano Louis XIII, a pair of gloves and a microfibre cloth. It restores the metal’s brilliance with ease. You can also let the brass develop a natural patina over time.
To remove any wax drips, hot water is sufficient.
Avoid leaving brass candle holders outdoors for extended periods: humidity and temperature changes may cause oxidation.
Depending on the model, our holders accommodate both Maison Pechavy taper candles (Ø 1 cm) and classic candles (Ø 2.2 cm). Some designs—such as GALET and FOLIES 1919—are reversible for dual use. For other models, we offer clever adapters that reduce the diameter of traditional chandeliers so you can use our taper candles in your favourite holders.
All our candle holders and candles are made in France by partner workshops selected for their artisanal expertise. Many of our partners hold the EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant) label, a mark of excellence awarded to companies preserving exceptional artisanal and industrial know-how.
If the base is too wide, shave a thin layer of wax from the bottom to fit. If it’s too thin, wrap a small piece of paper around the base to secure it. Our holders are designed with an internal thread pattern to help stabilise candles that are slightly undersized or oversized.
Yes. They are made in France from high-quality paraffin, free from harmful substances (GMOs, heavy metals, phthalates, CMR).
Maison Pechavy’s Danish candles are made from pure stearin, a natural material derived from vegetable fats, denser and harder than traditional paraffin.
This composition, combined with precise moulding, ensures a clean, even burn without dripping. Their elegant matte white finish makes them perfect for indoor use and long-lasting candlelit evenings.
