A mixed wax for an optimal olfactory result

This handcrafted candle is made of a mixed wax without coloring agent (mix of mineral wax and vegetable wax) which will subtly scent your interiors both hot and cold. The candle is 100% made in France, it was cast by a French candle maker and the fragrance was developed in Grasse by a perfumer.

The scent of this handmade candle

Like an air of vacation. A few steps on the beach and then a pause around a brazier in the setting sun. The elements mingle: fire, air, water. EMBRUM, this fragrance with marine notes will take you to summer. This scent perfumes your home and invites you to create a seaside atmosphere. The elegance of patchouli and vetiver notes bring freshness and intensity.

The fragrances of this handmade candle represent the scent of a return "to the roots", like a wave of fresh iodine that takes hold of our bottles and pleasantly scents our interiors. The mixture of these woody notes adds to the atmosphere of your homes, a memory of a walk by the sea.

The different formats

Maison Pechavy offers two generous sizes of handcrafted scented candles, allowing you to enjoy a warm and cocooning atmosphere for several hours. This handmade candle offers 600gr of scented wax. The time of combustion is estimated at approximately 60 hours.

Our ceramic boxes

Inspired by the Japanese perfume burner cup, the elegant and sober design of these handmade candles is signed Carine Pechavy. The ceramic containers have been manufactured and glazed by the VIREBENT factory based in the Lot region of France and certified EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant). This handmade candle in its celadon blue box adds a touch of freshness to your home.

Give a second life to your handmade candle. Once the handmade candle is burned, this ceramic will become a utensil jar or small vase.

A box of 35 matches will accompany this beautiful candle. This will allow you to light its flame with ease & elegance.

The fragrance

The perfume has been worked on to avoid as much as possible the harmful substances contained in most of the scented candles on the market: VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) and CMR (Carcinogenic, Mutagenic and Reprotoxic). Our perfume contains less than 0.02% of VOC and less than 0.05% of CMR in a candle. These substances are derived from natural materials.

The packaging

Maison Pechavy's packaging is highly recyclable. These handmade candles are offered in cardboard boxes from sustainably managed forests and FSC certified. Scented, useful and eco-responsible candles. This handcrafted candle, made in France, will add a cocooning atmosphere to your home.

This handmade candle was made in France. The wick of this scented candle is in cotton.

For a first combustion, leave the candle lit 1h maximum and cut the wick at 0.5 cm from the base. After each combustion (4h maximum of combustion), take care to cut the wick to 0.5 cm (or before each combustion) to avoid any emission of particles of soot (the wick which blackens, carbonizes and crackles). Do not leave the candle lit at night and do not leave the room while the candle is burning.

Let yourself be tempted by sandalwood, patchouli, cedar, musk, citrus, oud, green tea, jasmine, incense, vanilla, bergamot, to each interior its scent! This handmade candle, once burned, can become a useful accessory for the house: utensil pot, small vase or tea mug! What a pleasure to be able to perfume your home by adding a touch of originality!
