French handcrafted candles

These elegant candles are handcrafted. They are made using the ‘à la plongée’ method, which allows the craftsman to create tapered candles that thin out at the top. The wicks are made of cotton and arranged in a U-shape on wooden rods. Attached to wooden frames, these sticks are then dipped in wax by the artisan-waxmakers.

The colour pigments are spread in the melted wax. This process produces vibrant, surprising colours. Once lit, these candles give off a soft, pleasant glow. They burn slowly and emit no smoke.

To enjoy your candle longer, you can put it in the fridge for 30 minutes before burning. The cold will compact your candle, which will burn more slowly and won't drip.
