The perfume

Retour d'Aden evokes the olfactory journey between the East and the West. The mysterious and exhilarating essences of sandalwood and amber mingle with the refinement of bergamot smoked tea. A hushed boudoir in the 19th century. The fireplace crackles in an enveloping and reassuring atmosphere. This natural scented candle Retour d'Aden with oriental accords will carry you away and subtly permeate your interiors.

The different sizes of this candle set

Maison Pechavy offers two generous sizes of scented candles allowing you to enjoy a warm and cocooning atmosphere for several hours. This set of ceramic candles offers 200 and 600gr of scented wax.

Our ceramic cases

With its ceramic case, this CARBONE scented candles is an original and unique decorative asset. Inspired by Japanese tea bowls, the elegant and sober design of these candles is signed MAISON PECHAVY. The ceramic containers have been manufactured and glazed by the VIREBENT factory based in the Lot region of France and certified EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant).

CARBONE with its sober and timeless matt black color fits in all interior styles.

Give your scented candle a second life. Once the candle is burned, the ceramic will become a utensil jar, tea mug or small vase.

The time of combustion following a test in real conditions by the craftsman-waxmaker is 60h.

The perfume

The perfume was worked to avoid at most the harmful substances contained in the majority of the scented candles of the market: VOC (volatile organic compound) and CMR (carcinogenic, mutagenic and reprotoxic). Our perfume contains less than 0.02% of VOC and less than 0.05% of CMR in a candle, these substances are brought by the raw materials of natural origin: essential oil of cyst, styrax, patchouli and cardamom. The scented candle was made in France.

The cotton wick

The wick of this luxury candle is made of cotton for an optimal olfactory diffusion.

At the time of the first combustion, leave the candle lit 1h maximum and cut the wick at 0.5 cm of the base.

After each combustion (3h maximum of combustion), take care to cut the wick at 0.5 cm (or before each combustion) to avoid any emission of soot particles (the wick which blackens, carbonizes and crackles).

To extinguish the candle, do not blow on it but use a snuffer or dip the wick in the melted wax present on the periphery (with the help of the wooden stem of a match or with the point of a knife) and straighten it up immediately then take care to center it well so that it does not dig the wax in an irregular way.
