This beautiful blue mohair throw is from the ORIGINAL CELADON collection, the iconic colour of MAISON PECHAVY. It was made in collaboration with the BRUN DE VIAN-TIRAN wool factory, certified "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" and located in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue in Provence.

An exceptional wool blanket

We have selected mohair wool, a natural fibre of excellence prized for its warmth, lightness and softness, to make our first range of plaids. Produced from the Angora goat, this wool is soft and has very good thermoregulatory capacities. Unlike synthetic textile fibres such as acrylic, viscose or polyamide, natural wool has a strong insulating power.

It is perfect for ensuring excellent comfort in front of the fireplace in winter. Its shiny and wavy appearance enhances the colours of our Original Celadon collection. Two colours of wool yarn are combined to create this sober and elegant pattern consisting of two strips on one side of the blanket, Celadon and petrol blue dyed wool yarns are woven harmoniously on this blanket.

This mohair blanket is an essential decorative accessory, on the armrest of your sofa as a bedspread (or rather at the end of the bed), it will find its place in your interior to decorate your home in an elegant but also eco-responsible way. Indeed, the mohair wool fibres that make up this throw are entirely natural and of an extraordinary quality.

A collab' between two family businesses

Since 1808, 8 generations have succeeded one another in this wool factory in order to weave the most beautiful wools sourced throughout the world: wool and cashmere, alpaca wool, Arles merino wool.

For our first collection of MAISON PECHAVY plaids, it was an obvious choice to work with the BRUN family, with their outstanding traditional know-how, their attachment to noble fibres and their values.
